Maha Ayyappa Pooja 2025 – A Divine Gathering by ATHMA Southampton

The sacred chants of “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa” are set to echo through Southampton once again, as ATHMA hosts the Maha Ayyappa Pooja 2025 on the evening of 22 November 2025 at the Vedic Society Hindu Temple, Radcliffe Road, Southampton.

This blessed occasion is not just an event — it is a spiritual homecoming for every devotee of Lord Ayyappa. The evening will bring together the Hindu community from across Southampton and nearby towns, all united in devotion, humility, and love for the Lord who resides in every heart that seeks Him.

As the temple lamps are lit and the air fills with the fragrance of incense and the rhythm of bhajans, devotees will experience the divine presence of Lord Dharma Shastha — the embodiment of truth, self-control, and compassion. The serene backdrop of Southampton will transform into a miniature Sabarimala, reminding every pilgrim that distance can never separate the devoted from their Lord.

Our Priest

Our priest is a renowned Namboodiri from Kerala, who has previously served at the sacred Sabarimala Temple. He possesses deep knowledge of the temple’s traditions, rituals, and spiritual significance, which will greatly enhance our pooja and bless our spiritual journey.
