Welcome to Athma

The Soul - Eternal and unchanging self

We are an association of Malayalee Hindu lineage dedicated to preserving and promoting South Indian—especially Malayalee—culture, festivals, and traditions in Hampshire and the Test Valley. Our mission is to bring the spirit of Kerala closer to home through community celebrations, traditional pujas, and cultural gatherings. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, we believe that "Charity given out of duty, without expectation of return, at the proper time and place, and to a worthy person is considered to be in the mode of goodness." Guided by this principle, we actively support charitable causes—learn more through our Akshayapatram initiative.
